Question: Who Has The Best Web Hosting For Small Business 2021?
Short Answer: Use GreenGeeks.
I have been reading a bunch of articles coming out about the Best Web Hosting For Small Business in 2021. But what I find is that they are just a list of web hosting companies and their costs, and benefits. But none of them make any recommendations. Probably because most of the people writing those articles don’t know anything about being a small business – given they are HUGE companies.
If you want a side by side comparison of the “big ten” or so web companies, here is one of those articles:
But let me save you a lot of time. If you are hosting a WordPress site – get GreenGeeks. We design websites in Salt Lake City (and a lot in California) and we host our sites on GreenGeeks They are super-environmentally conscious. They have great tech support, and great uptime, and they give back to the environment. Their tech support is friendly, helpful, and fast. Here is a link to their website: Greengeeks
WordPress recommends Bluehost but I do not. . Migrating WordPress websites to Bluehost is the biggest pain in neck I have ever experienced. Their “easy to use free tool” – yeah it didn’t work. So they charge you $150 for THEM to migrate it (GreenGeeks and WP-Engine do this for free), and their “professional” service isn’t any better. Their customer support team, couldn’t even seem to understand what I was asking them about migrating a WordPress website and basically told me to go to their help forum. I got the impression that their “tech support” person didn’t have a clue in the world what business Bluehost is in. I would never use them again.
There are tons of places you can host your website, but if you are using WordPress (which just about everyone is) – we suggest GreekGeeks and one of our friends recommends WP-Engine.
If you aren’t using WordPress, and you are using Wix, or Weebly, or SquareSpace, you are going to be hosting your website on their platforms, so you don’t even need to worry about it. And honestly, if you think Bluehost or GreenGeeks is too expensive, then you SHOULD be using Wix, Weebly, or SquareSpace.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this article. We build websites and do SEO for small business in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. These are the companies we use for web hosting for small businesses in 2021.
I hope this article has saved you a lot of time and research. It is basically everything you need to know. Looking for the best web hosting for small business in 2021? GreenGeeks are the best.
Sincerely,
Tim
